木材拓展：黑檀木

黑檀，柿属植物,非红木属。主要产于亚洲热带，如苏拉威西、菲律宾。别名：乌木、黑紫檀、黑白檀。黑檀木心边材区别明显，边材白色（带黄褐或青灰）至浅红褐色；心材黑色（纯黑色或略带绿玉色）及不规则黑色心材（其深浅相间排列条纹）。木材有光泽、无特殊气味。纹理黑白相间，直至浅交错，结构细而匀，耐腐、耐久性强、材质硬重、细腻，是一种十分稀少的珍贵木材。卡特吉他QM-80T3采用的苏拉威西乌木，一般用于室内装饰、车辆材、高级家具、乐器用材、工艺品、单板用材。由其材色悦目、纹理和谐、结构细而匀、材质重硬、干材尺寸稳定等特点，制作出来的家具，线条优美、流畅，纹理清晰，凝重高贵中又显盎然生机，因此苏拉威西乌木主要用于制作高档家具，特别适宜制作仿明清式，民国式样，以及带有部分西洋古典风格的家具款式，明韵清风、古雅时尚皆可很好的体现出来，其主要用量也在于此。

苏拉威西条纹乌木是乌木中的极品，它是印度尼西亚除了天堂鸟、红龙鱼之外的三大国宝之一，被称之为“木材中的黑珍珠”。主要生长于地球赤道旁的印度尼西亚苏拉威西岛，地处亚洲热带地区，该地区终年干旱，雨水较少，岛上多为崖石山，树木生长环境极为恶劣，这就是其成材缓慢的主要原因，一般需几百年甚至上千年，是印度尼西亚的2级国宝级植物。作为印度尼西亚的国宝木材，苏拉威西条纹乌木已被列入《濒临绝种野生动植物国际贸易公约》(俗称《华盛顿公约》)，已禁止砍伐出口，市面上流通的苏拉威西条纹乌木，皆以林貌整理为由收集出口，数量极少。

Sulawesi striped ebony is the best of ebony. It is one of Indonesia's three national treasures except for the bird of paradise and the red dragon fish. It is called the "black pearl in the wood". It mainly grows on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi near the earth’s equator. It is located in tropical Asia. The area is arid all year round and there is little rain. The islands are mostly rocky mountains and the tree growth environment is extremely harsh. This is the main reason for its slow growth. It usually takes hundreds of years or even thousands of years, and it is a second-class national treasure plant in Indonesia. As Indonesia’s national treasure timber, Sulawesi striped ebony has been listed in the "Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora" (commonly known as the "Washington Convention"), and has been banned for export. Sulawesi striped ebony is circulating in the market. They are all collected and exported on the grounds of arranging forest appearance, and the quantity is very small.
